The Radio People!

I was going to work today and I left home a bit early as I needed to send an urgent email.

I turned on the radio to Panorama FM, and I was so pissed off at these people who has nothing to do in life but to answer silly questions! to actually bother to SMS and call at 8 am in the morning!! in a RAMADAN morning!! Saudi people (and I'm saying Saudi coz we all know that none of us sleep before 5 am)!! In fact, WHY would they listen to the radio while their home? I mean there are TVs everywhere..now we got TV in our mobile phones!!!

Yesterday night I was listening to MBC FM, they had this discussion on polygamy, lol there was this Saudi woman who said, I'm against polygamy! in fact, all guys who do this are 5laeejis..and at the end she said that she wants men to help their wives in house work (cleaning the house, laundry, cooking..etc). I know many of you girls will go like YEAH AND WHATS WRONG WITH THAT!! WHY DONT MEN HELP THEIR POOR WIVES BLAH BLAH BLAH...

Let me tell you something..we are NOT all the same, there are men who cant find time to PEE! nevertheless, cooking!! in normal days I go to work at 9 am and I come back at 7 pm!! sometimes I stay late up to 9 pm!! YASATIR :@

  • moodi i have nothing to say abt the radio thing, and polygomy is a bitch and i think it should be banned and also all polygamists must be crucified, yep yep yep, wait no polygomy is marrying more than one person right? if thats it then i stand by wat i said, if its not then i said nothing

    and moodi 7abeebi i know meskeen inta, inta bil thaat u should not lift a finger to do anything once u come back home, every other man though must and should and WILL if i have anything to do with it...

  • hmm, well id like a guy who helps around house if hes got the time. u know he shouldnt expect me to do everything and be all demaning. it would be nice if he can do the dishes and help do some laundry sometimes. not asking him to do all the house chores, but to help out if hes got some time.

    helping is ok..I don't actually mind but u guys gotta understand that some of us get really tired from work and thus, we expect to get some "rest" when we are home!

  • Medo, I hate guys who marry more than one woman, that's just being like an animal.. asta'3fr allah..
    Radio people; let them be, bedonhom we got nothing to listen to in the car on the way to work..
    About you and ur wife to be problems, if you come at 7 PM and go at 8 Am there is really no time to mess out the house, so no need to clean, and no meal times :P so no dishwashing, and the laundry, 3nd el '3asal like when u were a 3zoobe :P

  • an animal?!! la la fo0f..i agree that there ppl who wanna marry more than one woman for the sake of pleasure..but there are others who do this because they "have" a reason. I would say, and its my personal opinion here, if someone wants to get married for the second time, he should have a REAL reason such as, he wants to have a child.

    HAHA ur being smart huh :P HEY I WILL STILL HAVE MY MEALS AND I WILL NOT CLEAN THE DISHES NO MATTER WHAT LOL

  • I'm against polygomy all the way.. See I'm not going against Islam, but the way I understand it is the Islam subliminally made polygomy illegal by saying that al rajul lazim ya3del bayn zawjatoh, wa lan ya3del, so in other words God is saying ur allowed to marry more than one if u can treat them with equality, but u will never be able to treat them with equality, so in a way, Islam is sort of pushing ppl to not marry more than 1 woman...
    As for helping the wife out at home, I'm all for it.. I'm all for gender equality, and by that I mean that I'd like to marry an ambitious woman who works full time as well.. If she works and I work, then it's only fair that we split the house chores between us...

    I won't say anything about polygamy as I am not a Muslim and my opinion doesn't count, but as for helping the wife out at home - if a man is busy working and a woman is a housewife - he has all the excuses for not cooking, cleaning or doing laundry. If a woman is working too - then either get a maid, or share domestic chores. It's not HER job to keep up the house if both partners work. It's the both of them who are responsible equally.
