One Small Thing..



Today..I was going back to the office after I had my lunch break. The weather was pretty much HOT here in Jeddah as it reached 48ºC in the afternoon. I had that horrible headache and I wasn't at the working mood at all..in a traffic light I saw a bus of my old school. Excitedly I stepped a little to see the driver of the bus..and there I was shocked!! it's him!! 3AM HASANEEN!!!!

18 years ago I was playing with some friends at our school playground..somehow I felt and I broke my hand. Of course I was crying and all that, it really hurt. A teacher called the school's driver to take me to the hospital. It was 3am hasaneen lol he took me to the hospital and I remember how he used to tell me don't cry son..you are gonna be just fine..you are a big guy now! stop crying :P

When I saw him today..I got memories of my school, friends and my teachers. It's amazing that one small thing can bring all that..when I was next to the bus, I looked at him with a big smile on my face..he saw me but he didn't recognize me of course.

I want to be a kid again..

    Sunshine, come on ! despite how awful it was I love it.
    Remember when we used to bring pringles and hide it!! or how cold it was and we used to get sweaters, the horrible big skirts we used to wear and how pale we looked, the teachers, the boring loooooong classes till 3:15 pm and stuck at the gate till 3:35pm LOL.. come on it was amazing!

    u said 18 years ago but somehow i read it when i was 18.. so i was like.. he was 18 and he cried when he fell?!!!! then i realized my mistake :P couldn't help but laugh at the beginning

    perfumes.. uff.. i hate perfumes :S it happens too much

    and as foof said it's somewhat sad

    congrats on winning ;) you'll be meeting us GERMANY on the final and WE'LL WIN :P too bad for u!

  • last time i visited my school was 3 yrs ago. one of the guys from my class was back in the country so we decided to meet up at school and see wut changed. ive been wanting to go again since then but the school changed locations and i dont know its new location. i dont know if any of my teachers r still there. kamaan i recently heard inoo the school is no longer co-ed and its segrated now, so that means i wouldnt see any of my guy teachers :S

  • I just graduated, fa ma fi "visiting" anytime soon ;p
    We all ways had girls that graduated coming to visit our school. I'm like "wtf?! Fakah, they're not in school!"
    Maybe, i'll feel they same way too, in the years to come.

    Oh, and I miss being a kid too :")
